BMW Z4 radio code

The code will be provided immediately after placing the order, regardless of the time of day.

The form checks Blaupunkt, Becker and Philips serials, found in families including Bavaria, Reverse, Business and Professional. Support depends on the actual radio and serial number, not just the car series or year.

You will see the price after checking your serial number, before payment. If you have the original code card for this radio, you can use the code written on it.

You need the radio serial number. The VIN identifies the car. If the radio has been replaced, a code for the original factory unit may no longer match.

On selected radios, turn the key to the first position, switch the radio off and on, then hold m for 5–10 seconds. Note the SN including letters; switch off to exit. For CD43, our form needs the full BP serial from the casing. TP works only on some other models.

Fixings depend on the car and radio model. They may sit behind small covers. Switch off the unit, release its fixings with the right tool and slide it out carefully. Do not pull on wires or force the panel.

Enter the full string below the barcode, without asterisks. You can also enter the short Serial No. and BE model from the same label. The model field appears after you enter a short serial.

Copy the whole PH string from the label, including the letter in the middle and any zeros. If the form does not recognise it, check each character again.

This form does not support them. A newer system paired with the car may need diagnostics or coding instead of a PIN. The Business or Professional name alone does not confirm compatibility.

For the 4-digit version, switch on the radio. Press 1 repeatedly until the first digit appears. Set the other digits with 2, 3 and 4. Check the full code, then confirm with the right arrow (>). Other models may use different confirmation buttons.

After incorrect attempts, the radio may require a waiting period. Leave it switched on with the key in the first position until code entry is available again. On older BMW radios this takes about an hour. Interrupting power may extend the wait.

Compare every letter and zero with the label and check the full length. Use BP for Blaupunkt, PH for Philips, and the complete barcode string for Becker. Do not substitute a part number or a short on-screen SN.

Older BMW radios may ask for a code after losing power. Check the code card in the car documents first. If it is missing, follow the guide above to find the radio serial number.
