Jaguar radio codes

The code will be provided immediately after placing the order, regardless of the time of day.

The fitted radio and its serial determine availability, not the car model alone. The form checks code availability before payment. This guide covers older units that request a code; it does not cover pairing newer InControl or Pivi systems. An ECU, SWITCH VIDEO label belongs to a video module, not the radio.

Enter the serial and continue. You will see the price and delivery time before payment. Your code appears on the order page and arrives by email.

This form needs the radio serial. The VIN, part number and VID displayed on screen are different identifiers. If the radio has been replaced, read the serial from the unit fitted now.

Try the screen method for your Visteon radio first. Otherwise, you need access to the casing. Use release keys only with a panel that has removal holes. Units screwed into the console need their trim and fixings removed. Slide the radio out just far enough to read the serial; do not pull on the wires.

Expand “How do I enter the code?” under your selected radio. Jaguar Premium Sound uses button 5 to confirm; Land Rover Visteon CD uses the right tuning arrow. Numeric-keypad and touchscreen units use a separate procedure.

The radio is timing a pause after incorrect attempts. Leave it on with stable power until the code prompt returns. The Jaguar X-Type handbook and Land Rover FL3/FL5 specify 30 minutes; Traffic Pro can require 60 minutes. At LOCKED, or if no further entries are accepted, a code alone may not be enough.

A power loss or voltage drop can trigger the code prompt. The code belongs to the radio. Keep it for your next battery change.
