How to find your Alpine radio number
Choose a similar radio. The front helps you recognise it; the number on the casing identifies its version.
Mercedes-Benz · AL
- Slide the radio out of the dashboard. Check the label and engraving on the casing, on the side or top.
- Find S/NO. on the casing. The AL serial may be stamped into the metal beside the label. Enter the whole serial, including the letter in the middle.
MF, CM or RY next to Model No. is the model, not the serial. A Mercedes part number starting with A is not the serial either.
How do I enter the code?
Audio 10 CD with a right-hand rotary control: turn it to choose a digit, then press briefly to confirm it. After setting the full code, hold the control for about 3 seconds. The cassette panel uses different buttons.
Chrysler / Jeep / Dodge · T
- Slide the radio out of the dashboard. Check the label and engraving on the casing, on the side or top.
- Find S/N and copy the full number starting with T, such as T…AA, including every letter between the digits.
RES and REQ are model identifiers, not serial numbers. The part number starting with P is not the serial.
How do I enter the code?
Code entry depends on the model. Set the digits as described in your radio manual and confirm the code the way it shows. After incorrect attempts the radio may need a waiting period.
Jaguar · JA
- Slide the radio out of the dashboard. Check the label and engraving on the casing, on the side or top.
- Find the serial engraved into the metal, often below the label or underneath the radio. It starts with JA. Enter it in full, including letters.
The part number on the sticker is not the serial. Spaces in the serial are optional.
How do I enter the code?
At CODE, enter each digit directly using the numbered buttons. On an Enter System PIN touchscreen, enter the code and tap Enter.
How do I slide the radio out?
Switch off the radio and ignition. Use removal keys that fit the slots in the panel. If the radio is screwed in, follow the vehicle manual to remove the trim and undo the screws. Slide it out just far enough to read the label or engraving. Do not pull on the wires.
